The Celtic League which is a (roster status) NGO of the United Nation (ECOSOC) was invited this week to make a submission to the 2021 (HLPF):
“The Office of Intergovernmental Support and Coordination for Sustainable Development of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs is pleased to announce an open call for written statements for the 2021 ECOSOC High-level Segment (HLS) for NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC. The 2021 ECOSOC HLS will be held from 13 to 16 July 2021, and will be guided by the theme of the 2021 High-level Political Forum (HLPF) on “Sustainable and resilient recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, that promotes the economic, social and environmental dimensions of sustainable development: Building an inclusive and effective path for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda in the context of the decade of action and delivery for sustainable development.”……”
The submission from the League, complied by the Assistant General Secretary, Bernard Moffatt was submitted today by the General Secretary, Rhisiart Tal-e-bot, on behalf of the Central Council of the Celtic League.
