The chances are that statistics for the Isle of Man will be similar although the Tax Fraud element is probably higher here because of course we have a whole class of business professionals based here (aka ‘suits’) who make their living out of devising tax planning for others. It therefore seems not beyond the bounds of possibility that they practice their dark arts domestically.
Anyway Treasury ‘bag-man’, Bill Henderson MLC, will I feel sure take time of from his Departments assault on benefits to advise us if our comparison is wrong!
