Some Russians are not cowed by the brutal police force of ‘The Butcher of the Kremlin’ (Putin). This lone protester in St Petersburg a few hours ago adopted a performance art approach which given the red paint gave the cops pause for thought in case their nice uniforms got smeared. Its just paint – in Ukraine the streets are smeared with the blood of children!
