NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE
The Secretary General of the Celtic League has welcomed the participation of Welsh Language Commissioner, Meri Huws, at a meeting of the Oireachtas Committee on the Environment, Culture and the Gaeltacht recently.
Rhisiart Talebot said:
“I would like to thank you for your participation in your role as Commissioner at the Committee Meeting on 25th November 2014 at the Dáil Éireann in Dublin, where you discussed the Commission’s role of supporting minority languages. The Celtic League broadly welcomes inter-celtic cooperation on matters concerning the promotion of the Celtic languages and the sharing of good practice surrounding these issues.”
