“The President of Tynwald
The Hon Clare Christian BSc MLC

By Email via the Clerk of Tynwald’s Office
Dear Madame President,
I refer you to the article on IOM Newspapers web pages entitled;
‘Manx financial regulator’s ‘massive failure’ over £75m alleged mis-selling scandal’
In the article’s penultimate paragraph it says;
“Tynwald president Clare Christian was a director of DAIL until it was sold to PowerHouse. She was also on the board of ScottishPower Insurance Ltd until she resigned in December last year.”
Bearing in mind that the reference to you refers to you as the President of Tynwald and bearing in mind the significance of that Office do you intend to issue any statement to clarify any matters referred to in the article?
Yours sincerely
Bernard Moffatt
Director of Information”
