Rob Edwards Scottish journalist and environmentalist has this article in The Ferret which refers to a dispute between the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and the Ministry of Defence (MOD) over the publication of reports on nuclear submarine safety problems.
The MOD have decided to stop publishing annual safety reports. ONR are being diplomatic but it seems the MOD decision may be challenged.

British nuclear submarines (both hunter killer and ballistic missile types) regularly transit the Irish Sea and many are based on the Clyde at Helensburgh.
