The United Kingdom government meets today to try to salvage its nuclear new build strategy for a series of new power stations. With a number of schemers (such as Wylfa on Anglesey) on the back-burner it seems that only Sizewell will get the go ahead.
However ‘N day’ for nuclear new build could spell domesday for the RSPB site at Minsmere adjacent to where the new facility will go.

The Celtic League is opposed to nuclear new build a decision on opposition having been endorsed at AGM two decades ago.
