Lost Welsh community destroyed by the MOD remembered

Welsh peace group Cymdeithas y Cymod is remembering this month the destruction of the Welsh speaking village and farming community at Epynt which was taken over (80 years ago) by the MOD in WW2 and never returned.

Here’s an article about the issue:

“To mark the 80th anniversary of the clearances Welsh-based peace group Cymdeithas y Cymod (The Fellowship of Reconciliation) is using its @Cymod Twitter account to tweet out the name of one of the lost farms everyday until June 30.”
