NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE
You will recall I wrote sometime (19th October) ago asking specific questions about the MHK/MLCs pension scheme.
Our queries were reported here:
https://www.celticleague.net/news/mhks-golden-goodbyes-what-are-they-worth/
You will see they were innocuous enough queries like what are they worth and how many have been making enquiries about them recently – which could give an indication of how jittery things are in the ‘House of Wax’ about next years general election.
I did get a holding reply (24th October) from the PSPA (Public Sector Pensions Authority) and that was reported here:
https://www.facebook.com/805941286121301/photos/pb.805941286121301.-2207520000.1448651022./923233567725405/?type=3&theater
To be fair as you will see the delay is not down to the PSPA rather it’s because they have to get the ok from the rather grandly named ‘Tynwald Emoluments Committee’.
I have had some queries from readers of our posts asking when/if any answer is forthcoming and I’m assured it is in the pipeline but still has to be cleared by that Tynwald Emoluments Committee.
Anyway I will publish any reply as and when received.
