If there was a Pulitzer prize for non-newsworthy new items it would go to Manx Radio’s report on ‘a chance meeting’ between some ‘strolling Manx Ministers’ at the Tory party conference and Boris Johnson (link):

But it gets worse if you listen to the report (you may have to play it twice to take it in) it seems that Manx government Ministers really think that spending our money on these ‘jollies’ achieves something.
I bet it will be embedded in Boris Johnson’s memory forever – the Tory conference 2015 Manchester where I learned there was an Isle of Man!
There is something inherently pathetic about Manx government Ministers wandering around a political conference being held in a Country, England, which is so divided and at odds with itself that roads are closed by police barricades and armed officers perch on buildings aiming rifles at the public.
Meanwhile our ‘political elite’ suck up to people whose most recent claim to fame is that they did indescribable things to a pigs head at Cambridge!
Inane or insane – take your pick!
