There is no doubt that the issue that prompted David Cameron to do a volte-face on accepting more refugees into the UK was the sustained pressure he came under.
It demonstrates that even a government that would get a ‘Nobel Prize’ for indifference in the face of suffering can be swayed if the pressure is applied forcefully enough.
No one was more eloquent in outlining the case for a change of heart than Plaid Cymru leader, Leanne Wood, AM.
Speaking on GOOD MORNING BRITAIN she contrasted the selfless attitude of Germany with the selfish attitude of the United Kingdom.
