Six Town Councils in Cornwall have already acceded in a campaign which started three years ago. However CCC is the most ambitious target to date and the largest employer. They have said they will reply to the request in due course.
The Celtic League told Cornwall County Council:
“By making 5th March an annual holiday for your staff you will be showing the public that you support the distinctiveness of Cornwall and are prepared to celebrate this increasingly important event in Cornwall’s cultural calendar.”
