NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE
Brittany has become the newest member of the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization, after UNPO’s 12th General Assembly, which took place in Brussels on Wednesday 1st to Friday 3rd July, 2015
The Breton delegates expressed their delight at this important step in their quest for recognition, after centuries of repression of their culture by the French state.
Brittany now joins 43 other Unrepresented Nations and Peoples from across the world who form part of the organisation.
On Wednesday 1st July, 2015 Jean-Loup Le Cuff, President of Kelc’h An Dael (K.A.D.) and Stéphane Domagala, president of KAD’s international commission spoke in favour of Breizh and participated in an open plenary. This was followed by official acceptance of Brittany’s membership on Friday 3rd July, 2015.
