Dear Mr Gidor,
I refer to statement attributed to you in a BBC programme broadcast in July. The programme related to the possible utilisation of the Isle of Man by Iranian shipping interests.
I draw your attention sent to the Isle of Man Chief Minister this week in which we have asked him for clarification on this issue. As we indicate in our letter given the Iranian governments human rights record towards its own people and its leaders statement about your country the moral efficacy of facilitating trading interests with such a State must be questioned.
Obviously clarity on Iranian – Isle of Man shipping links would be most useful and if therefore the Israeli government have any information in this regard it would be helpful if this could be made public.
Yours sincerely
