It has been reported that a series of slogans have recently been daubed across Cornwall calling for `Home Rule’ and `Freedom’.

Some of the slogans also say `An Gof’ which is the name of a Cornish Liberation Group which was active in the 1980s and two years ago was claimed to be being resurrected.

It is unclear who is behind the current rash of graffiti which interestingly follows similar campaigns in Mannin and Brittany.

It is also unclear how police in Cornwall will respond to the incidents and whether they will mimic the rather ham-fisted approach adopted by Manx police who arrested and harassed many nationalists only to have to subsequently drop prosecutions.
