News from Mannin Branch of the Celtic League:

Great debate over on one of the other forums about low flying military jets flying ‘over Ramsey and the North recently.

The speculation includes military exercises, the range at Luce Bay, Hawks from RAF Valley (which use Ronaldsway for approach training) and even ‘The Russians’.

Febrile times indeed! Of course as we have pointed out before Low Flying by military aircraft over the land area of the Isle of Man is restricted as below 2000’ there is a fliight avoidance zone.

Conveniently the RAF mark it on their charts however apparently navigation skills are not all the were these days!
