The Celtic League celebrates twelve years this year as an accredited Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) to the UN Department of Economic and Social AffaIrs (DESA).
The League was granted ‘roster status’ to the Economic and Social Committee (ECOSOC) after an application by the General Secretary (Rhisiat Talebot) in 2009 and we are of course grateful to the committee that approved our application.
The ‘fields of activity’ of the League as a ‘roster status member’ can be found at this link. They are fairly wide ranging but we attempt to comply with any request from the ECOSOC for NGO submissions.
