The Celtic League has said in an interview to Manx Radio that the ballot box and not the baton should be used to resolve disputes surrounding minority rights in Europe.
The remarks come after the recent events in Catalonia where Spanish National police brutally attacked people trying to take part in the recent referendum.

The Celtic League which is an accredited UN NGO (ECOSOC) had an observer (a member of its Scottish branch) in Barcelona at the weekend.
