After a very successful AGM held this year on the Isle of Man the Celtic League Convenor, Cathal O Luain, has issued an action plan to branches and officers arising from the decisions taken at the meeting.
Much of the strategy relates to the implementation programme for the resolutions adopted at the meeting which spanned such issues as:
The imprisonment of nuclear protesters
The Irish language
The political situation in the six counties
Catalan referendum
Manx territorial seas
Diego Garcia
Super Trawler
Breton language issues
Mining in Brittany
These together with administrative matters are set out with the designated Officer for implementation within a set time frame.
A report on the AGM and resolutions adopted will appear in the League journal CARN.
As always, the progress and success of implementation of policy decisions and resolutions will be scrutinised at the next AGM planned for Glasgow (Loch Lomond) in November 2018.
