The republican hunger-striker Bobby Sands who died forty years ago this week has been remembered in a ceremony by Breton nationalists at the ‘Jardin Bobby Sands’ (memorial garden) in Plougastel-Daoulas.

Sands is remembered elsewhere in Breizh – a street is named after him in Naoned (Nantes).
