Atlantic ‘health check’ finds increased levels of CFC’s

Another thought provoking article from Irish Times marine correspondent, Lorna Siggins, about deep-ocean research in the North Atlantic which has found worrying levels of CFC (chlorofluorocarbons).
The study being undertaken by the Irish government’s marine research vessel Celtic Explorer is jointly funded by Ireland and Canada (link):
